Teams to Square Off at Orlando’s Villas of Grand Cypress

(Washington, D.C. February 10, 2019) – The Energy Management Association’s membership has proven their chops in energy efficiency. But can they match that proficiency with a set of clubs? On April 16 they’ll get their chance to prove they got game at the first annual EMA Golf Tournament at the beautiful Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL. The event is being held in conjunction with CxEnergy 2019.
The tournament runs from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm. Team Sponsorships are available at $2000 (singles $125). Sponsorship includes a package of benefits ranging from one complimentary CxEnergy registration to recognition on various promotional materials.

EMA is one of the presenting organizations of CxEnergy, the only conference and expo dedicated exclusively to energy management and building commissioning. CxEnergy 2019 is being held April 15-18 at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, FL. The event features a preconference program with seminars and certification workshops and exams, a 32-session AIA CEU accredited technical program, expo hall and many networking events.
CxEnergy is presented by the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG), Associated Air Balance Council (AABC), and Energy Management Association (EMA). EMA is a trade association dedicated to providing education, training and certification in the field of building and facility energy efficiency. Its Energy Management Professional Certification (EMP) has achieved accreditation by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and is a recognized certification by the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings® Workforce Guidelines program. In addition, the EMP meets the definition of “Qualified Energy Auditor” in the ASHRAE 211P Standard for Commercial Building Energy Audits.
