Group’s commissioning talent, depth & diversity of expertise put on full display!
The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) announced that it will launch a multi-installment webinar series focusing on various venues and applications of the commissioning process. The presenters will include ACG member-companies, certified personnel, and affiliated associations. It debuts on August 13, 2020, running through December.
“ACG is proud to launch the Essential Cx Webinar series. The talent and diversity of expertise within our ranks is remarkable and this programming puts that on full display,” said ACG President Troy Byers, P.E. CxA (Commissioning Consultants, LLP).
“The ACG Essential Cx Series will take you behind the scenes to the commissioning of everything from mission critical facilities to major sports arenas. It features topics ranging from energy modeling, to building envelope commissioning, to the critical occupancy issue of our age: COVID-19. I highly recommend it for commissioning providers and anyone associated with building performance,” added Byers.
The first Essential Cx presentation highlights the commissioning and energy modeling work performed by ACG Member SSRCx on the innovative Chase Center Arena in San Francisco. The multipurpose arena features ambitious performance and sustainability goals specified by its owner, the NBA’s Golden State Warriors organization. Presenters are SSRCx’s Clark Denson, PE, and Eric Sheffer.
Subsequent ACG Essential Cx presentations cover topics including data centers, monitoring based commissioning (MBCx), building enclosure commissioning and more.
ACG is home to the world’s largest body of certified independent commissioning professionals. It created and administers the ANSI-accredited, DOE Better Buildings®-recognized CxA Certification, the premier credential for independent commissioning providers.
